The BLOG
An occasional blog about recent projects
This was fun little project for the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) all about the different types of flooding. The visuals were a initially inspired by the game Minecraft, but then strayed away a bit... The big infographic above was printed in NERC's splendid 'Planet Earth' magazine, but we also developed a series of cards that can be downloaded, printed off and used in schools and the like. If your a teaching sort of person, you can download them here.

There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article, thanks and we want more! Added to Feed Burner as well

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!

It wasn't just a fun project that comes from Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), but perhaps it is the best idea that we need to implement against flooding! We are experiencing global warming right now and it is about time to do things that can help save the environment. The plans are great and hopefully will be considered because that could potentially prevent flooding from happening all over the places. I am sure that there are so many plans against flooding which there government can use.
